Originally from the St. Petersburg area in Florida, Dr. Toth grew tired of the heat and flat land, bringing him here to join us in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Since 2008, Asheville has been considered home where he can enjoy his hobbies of whitewater kayaking, hiking, and nature photography. For the past several years he has also become very involved in rowing recreationally and competitively with the Asheville Rowing Club. The close proximity to the Blue Ridge has been appreciated as Dr. Toth continues to work toward hiking the entire length of the Appalachian Trail. During the winter you can find him enjoying the snow on his skis or on a sled as he has many years of snow-time to make up for. After the many years of school in Gainesville, Dr. Toth naturally became a huge fan of the Florida Gators football team which he cheers loudly for each Saturday in the fall.
